Bhumit Tehlan
Bhumit Tehlan, who writes as “Fakir,” is a Hindi-Urdu poet based in NCR. He has been writing since 2012, mostly around themes like existence, emotional distance, and the quieter sides of human connection. He spent over a decade in Canada studying Robotics Engineering at the University of Manitoba and working there, so there is this mix in him, a very logical life on one side, and a deeply observant, emotional side on the other. That contrast shows up in his writing. Now he is back in India running his own manufacturing business, while continuing to write alongside it. He does not force his work, he lets things sit, understands them over time, and then writes. His performances are simple and calm, but they tend to stay with people.
